Alvarez and Dodo in 22-man Doria squad to face Napoli

Sampdoria put the finishing touches on their preparations for Sunday’s visit of league leaders Napoli at Bogliasco this afternoon.

After warming up, the Blucerchiati were guided through a series of technical and tactical drills.

Lorenzo De Silvestri followed an individual programme today and will not be involved in the game but Ricardo Gabriel Alvarez and Dodo Pires Ribeiro are both in the matchday squad for the first time.

Here are the 22 players Vincenzo Montella will have to choose from at the Marassi tomorrow afternoon:

Goalkeepers: Brignoli, Puggioni, Viviano.

Defenders: Cassani, Dodô, Moisander, Pereira, Regini, Silvestre, Zukanovic.

Midfielders: Alvarez, Barreto, Carbonero, Correa, Fernando, Ivan, Krsticic, Palombo.

Forwards: Cassano, Eder, Muriel, Rodriguez.
