Cassani: “The draw with Lazio released the pressure, now no letting up”

Mattia Cassani believes the last-gasp draw against Lazio was a real turning point for the Blucerchiati and has called for his team-mates to keep up their good form with victory over Genoa.

Though Cassani spent six months at Genoa in 2013, he doesn’t feel any special attachment to the club: “I was there for such little time that I wouldn’t define myself as an ex-Genoa player. The derby is only worth three points but the whole city will be watching – so we need to play with desire and try to produce a big performance.”
