Soriano back in full training on wet Saturday in Bogliasco

Roberto Soriano returned to training with the rest of the squad when the Blucerchiati gathered at the Centro Sportivo Mugnaini on Saturday morning with Tuesday’s match against city rivals Genoa firmly in their minds.

Vincenzo Montella divided his troops into two groups for the first part of a rain-soaked session in Bogliasco, with work split between the pitch and the gym. The squad then assembled on the main pitch for tactical drills.

Sampdoria will train behind closed doors once again on Sunday as they continue to ramp up for the Derby della Lanterna on 5 January.
