Individual sessions for three Samp players ahead of cup game against AC Milan

Matias Silvestre, Edgar Barreto and Eder Citadin Martins all worked individually during today’s workout in Bogliasco.

The Italy striker worked on his return to fitness, while the defender and midfielder went through personalised training programmes. Everybody else was available for Vincenzo Montella at the Centro Sportivo Mugnaini, including Nenad Krsticic.

The main group began the session with a warm-up before moving onto exercises on tactics and technique. Halfway through the session, the Samp players who played the majority of the game in Rome went inside for a recovery session, while the rest of the players focused on finishing drills and then ended with a training game.

Sampdoria will apply the finishing touches to preparations tomorrow morning, with the squad for Sampdoria v AC Milan in the Coppa Italia to be revealed after the session.
