Palombo: “Ready for pre-match retreat. Up to us to show we’re a real team”

Angelo Palombo has given his backing to the decision to take the team down to Catania in the build-up to Monday’s game against Lazio.

After training in Bogliasco on Thursday, the Blucerchiati will set up camp in Sicily for their final three days of training with the aim of finding the right focus for their visit to Rome’s Stadio Olimpico on Monday night.

“The club and the coaching staff decided to organise this pre-match retreat and we’re happy to go along with it,” the No.17 told Samp TV.

“It’s going to be a tough match against Lazio – but then it always is. It’s up to us to show that we’re a real team.”
