Muriel and Carbonero return. Samp back to full strength on Friday
Despite a marathon journey from Barranquilla to Milan – with layovers in Bogota and Madrid – Luis Muriel and Carlos Carbonero were keen to get back to meet the new coach.
After landing at Malpensa mid-morning, the pair came to the Mugnaini this afternoon. Tired but excited, the Colombian duo met Vincenzo Montella and his staff, before a light jog on the pitch and a massage in the dressing room at Bogliasco.
Both players will report back on Friday afternoon, after a morning off to get over their jet-lag. Training will be held behind closed doors, as Montella takes his first session with a full complement of players.
