Morning training in preparation for away match against Udinese

Vincenzo Montella’s Sampdoria have been through another morning training session at the Centro Sportivo Mugnaini in Bogliasco.

The squad focused mainly on technique today, with passing games, possession drills and finishing exercises taking up the bulk of the workout.

The new Blucerchiati coach also introduced himself to returnees Ervin Zukanovic and Michele Rocca, while the three Azzurri stars, Colombians Carlos Carbonero and Luis Muriel, and David Ivan have yet to come back from international duty.

On the injury front, Djamel Mesbah and Joaquín Correa had physiotherapy sessions. Andrea Coda and Nenad Krsticic pressed on with their recovery programmes too.

The players will be next out for training on Thursday morning.
