Montella and his team lead morning training, ball work for Sampdoria
Vincenzo Montella held his second training session as Sampdoria manager this morning, leading a session on the upper pitch for the first time. After a brief meeting in the video room, the squad got warmed up before getting stuck into a session centred firmly around ball work. The Blucerchiati worked on build-up play, finishing and piggy in the middle, before playing a high-press practice game and finally rounding the session off with a mini-match.
Djamel Mesbah and Joaquin Correa received physiotherapy treatment, while Andrea Coda and Nenad Krsticic continued their personalised recovery plans.
Samp will train again tomorrow morning ahead of Saturday’s trip to Udinese.
