Hard work this afternoon in Bogliasco, Mesbah back from Algeria

Sampdoria were back at the Centro Sportivo Mugnaini for a long and intense training session this afternoon, with Francesco Pedone and the coaching staff overseeing almost two hours of work.

The Blucerchiati got things going with a warm-up before focusing on technique, training games and an in-house match on a reduced pitch to wrap things up.

Edgar Barreto, Lucas Fernando Martins, Angelo Palombo and Matías Silvestre trained individually, while Andrea Coda, Joaquín Correa and Nenad Krsticic pressed ahead with their recoveries.

Djamel Mesbah has come back from international duty early with a muscle complaint and Luis Muriel complained of muscle fatigue after Colombia’s World Cup qualifying match against Chile.
