Tactics and technique at Bogliasco ahead of Samp v Empoli

Sampdoria were out on the pitches at the Centro Sportivo Mugnaini this morning for their penultimate training session ahead of Empoli’s visit to the Marassi tomorrow evening in Week 10 of Serie A 2015/16.

In wet conditions in Bogliasco, Blucerchiati manager Walter Zenga took his players through a workout covering tactical exercises, set-piece practice and finishing drills.

Andrea Coda, Lazaros Christodoulopoulos and Nenad Krsticic are still absent from the group as they continue with their personal recovery programmes.

There’s another workout planned for tomorrow morning where the finishing touches will be applied before the evening’s match, set to kick off at 20:45 CET.
