Pedro Pereira: “Playing for Samp in Serie A is a dream come true”

Pedro Pereira is not just a full-back with a penchant for getting forward and a cracking pair of feet. At 17 years and nine months, he’s also the youngest player in Serie A and – thanks to his inch-perfect cross for Luis Muriel against Inter on Sunday – the youngest player in Europe to provide an assist this season.

Samp TV recently caught up with the young Portuguese to see how he’s settling into life at the club: “Playing for the first team is a dream come true. I want to thank to club for the plan it set out for me and the faith it has shown in me. I was supposed to go with the Primavera, but instead I’m playing alongside great players like Cassano, Eder and Muriel.”
