Soriano looks ahead: “Italy now, then improve league standing”

Captain fantastic Roberto Soriano has really taken control of this Sampdoria team and against Inter yesterday afternoon you could see evidence of his influence all over the pitch.

Having been called up to the Italy squad alongside fellow team-mate Eder Citadin Martins, the Blucerchiati No. 21 has shared his thoughts with Samp TV: “We trained well for the match, but we need to be sharper in our counter-attacks and finish off the game earlier.

“It’s an honour to represent your country and when we come back, we’ll concentrate on the upcoming games that will help us to move up the table.”
