Zenga admits: “This is no ordinary game. We’ll have fun with Cassano”
“I’d be showing a lack of respect towards Inter and the fans if I sat here and told you this was just another game for me.”
After spending over two decades of his career with Inter, Walter Zenga is and will always remain a Nerazzurri legend, so there was no avoiding the matter in his press conference the day before Sampdoria host his former side in Marassi.
The Blucerchiati boss continued: “I have great respect for Inter but as I said when I first arrived, Sampdoria is where I want to be. I know what it means to toil for this shirt. I know what an honour it is to wear these colours. That’s why I’ll be doing everything I can to win this important game on Sunday.”
