Afternoon training ahead of Inter, same again Thursday

Sampdoria took to the training ground this afternoon for the team’s first session of the week, as attention turns to the Inter game on Sunday.

Blucerchiati manager Walter Zenga kicked things off in Bogliasco with a warm-up, which was followed by tactical drills on different match situations. The squad were also put through some fitness exercises before the workout was wrapped up with a training match on a reduced pitch.

There’s nothing new to report on the injury front, but Federico Bonazzoli was away on duty with Italy U19 and Ervin Zukanovic has just been called up by Bosnia and Herzegovina for their upcoming Euro 2016 qualification games.

The players will be back out at the Centro Sportivo Mugnaini for training tomorrow afternoon.
