Samp internationals start filtering back. Full complement for double session on Wednesday

With the international break now nearing its conclusion, Walter Zenga welcomed back David Ivan and Roberto Soriano today as the Blucerchiati start moving up through the gears ahead of Sunday’s visit of Bologna.

The Slovakia U21 midfielder was joined on the field by Nenad Krsticic, who has now recovered from his thigh injury, while the Italy man popped in for a visit on his rest day.

Zenga put the squad through a fast-paced session alternating between technical and tactical drills before ending the 90-minute workout with a training game.

Antonio Cassano and Emiliano Viviano worked separately while Ervin Zukanovic trained both on the field (aerobic exercises) and in the gym. Lorenzo De Silvestri continues his gradual return to match fitness.

A double dession is planned for tomorrow, when the manager will have a full complement of players to work with as the other internationals are due to return to the Doria fold.
