Zenga: “No distractions. We’ve trained well and want to build on opening-day win”

Walter Zenga is adamant that Sampdoria are thinking about nothing but tomorrow’s match at Napoli, despite potential distractions at the club in recent days.

“We’ve had a good week’s training. All transfer talk and personal problems get left outside when we come through the gate of the training ground,” the boss told journalists ahead of the game.

“The transfer window is something every team and every coach has to live with. Eder has trained and he’ll be with us tomorrow. Everything else is just gossip.”
