Palombo undergoes kidney stone procedure at Genoa’s San Martino Hospital

Sampdoria captain Angelo Palombo underwent a 50-minute procedure at the San Martino Hospital in Genoa this afternoon to have a kidney stone removed. The player had been suffering from cramps as a result of the problem, forcing him to miss the trip to Novi Sad.

Palombo’s recovery prognosis will be announced in the coming hours.
