Zenga comments on Europa League draw: “It’s destiny if it’s Novi Sad”
Sampdoria coach Walter Zenga has given his take on this lunchtime’s Europa League draw in Nyon: “Life’s strange sometimes – I went to Belgrade ten years ago with Steaua Bucharest. Samp are back in Europe and might come up against the team Sinisa Mihajlovic and Vujadin Boskov used to play for, and in the same country where I won the league and cup with Red Star Belgrade. That’s for everyone who doesn’t believe in destiny.
“If Vojvodina get through after their 3-0 first-leg win, they’ll be a tough, demanding opponent. But we can’t think about them, we just need to focus on ourselves, our work and the training we’re putting in to be ready for it,” declared Zenga.
