Zukanovic becomes the first Bosnian in Doria history

Ervin Zukanovic is officially a Sampdoria player. President Massimo Ferrero and everyone at the club are pleased to announce the permanent signing of the Bosnian left-back from A.C. ChievoVerona.

After undergoing a medical at the clinic in Albaro, Zukanovic, 28, immediately joined up with Walter Zenga and his staff. A full international, Ervin made 29 appearances in Serie A last term, scoring twice, and becomes the first Bosnian player in the club’s history.

Meanwhile, U.C. Sampdoria would like to announce that Fabrizio Cacciatore has joined A.C. ChievoVerona on loan. The contract includes a commitment to make the transfer permanent.
