Sampdoria raring to go after preseason medical tests
The Blucerchiati have finished their second day of medical tests as they continue preparations for their preseason training camp in Ponte di Legno. Over the course of Sunday and today, Walter Zenga’s squad headed to Genoa’s Laboratorio Albaro to have their preseason check-ups. The squad will get together in Nervi tomorrow before leaving for Val Camorica, with a stop off at the Shrine of Nostra Signora della Guardia church on the way.
Joining the players from last season’s squad were lots of new faces in Samp gear. In addition to returning loanees José Campaña, Bartosz Salamon and Andrea Tozzo, new Blucerchiati men Édgar Barreto (signed from Palermo), Federico Bonazzoli (signed from Inter), Alberto Brignoli (signed from Ternana), Mattia Cassani (signed from Parma), Niklas Moisander (signed from Ajax), Pedro Pereira (signed from Benfica) and Christian Puggioni (signed from Chievo) could all be spotted.
