Group work in morning training, minimatch in the afternoon
After enjoying Tuesday off, the squad returned to the Centro Sportivo Temù this morning for the first session of the day. Splitting off into three groups, the players alternated between tactical drills and athletic exercises in the sand. During the session, Joaquin Correa strained his right thigh flexor muscle and will be evaluated over the next few days.
The afternoon saw the squad focus on both the defensive and offensive aspects of the game, before getting stuck into a practice match on a half-size pitch and some shooting practice.
Christian Puggioni is still out, while Emiliano Viviano should join up with the group again tomorrow. Niklas Moisander was able to run again today after some painful back trouble.
