Samp U19s pick up a point at Lecce

Sampdoria U19s played out a 0-0 draw at Lecce to continue their unbeaten start in the fledgling Primavera championship.

Felice Tufano’s side might have come home with all three points but Daniele Montevago had a first-half effort ruled out for offside and Niccolo Bianchi struck the post after the break.

They had Elia Tantalocchi to thank down the other end, however, as he pulled off a miraculous save to deny Pol Munoz shortly before the interval and another crucial stop from Dario Daka’s free kick in second-half stoppage time to ensure Samp left with at least one point.

The Blucerchiati head into the Monday’s home match against Sassuolo on five points after their first three games
