London Calling: the Primavera tour England

Their bags are packed and it’s off to London for the Primavera, as they head to England for a five-day tour. Ciccio Pedone’s youngsters leave today and will return on 18 March, making the most of a break in the fixture list to take on some of the best youth teams around.

The Blucerchiati face League Two side Barnet first up at the Hive tomorrow in a match against their Under-19s.

Wednesday sees a second friendly, this time against their AFC Bournemouth counterparts. The Doria delegation will travel to the south coast for a meeting with the Cherries.

The players will train at the Hive on Thursday ahead of the big one to cap off the tour. The Primavera play Chelsea’s U23s at Cobham. The Blucerchiati will therefore have the chance to sample the cutting-edge facilities where Antonio Conte’s Blues train on a daily basis.
