Giampaolo names 24-man squad for AC Milan visit

Marco Giampaolo has named a 24-man squad for Friday night’s match against AC Milan at Marassi.

Stanley Amuzie, Luka Krajnc and Filip Djuricic are named in a Sampdoria squad for the first time, but Daniel Pavlovic misses out as a result of the knee injury he picked up in the first half against Roma.

Carlos Carbonero trained with his team-mates on Thursday before continuing on his personal training plan, while Andrea Tozzo had an individual session.

The squad will have one final session behind closed doors in Bogliasco tomorrow morning.

Goalkeepers: Krapikas, Puggioni, Viviano.

Defenders: Amuzie, Dodô, Krajnc, Pereira, Regini, Sala, Silvestre, Skriniar.

Midfielders: Barreto, Cigarini, Djuricic, Eramo, Fernandes, Linetty, Palombo, Praet, Torreira.

Forwards: Budimir, Muriel, Quagliarella, Schick.
